Praia de Ribeira d’Ilhas is ready to host the 1st division of national surfing at the Allianz Ericeira Pro, the third of five stages of the 2022 MEO Surf League.
This will be the intermediate event in the fight for the national surfing titles, with Vasco Ribeiro and Teresa Bonvalot reaching the waves of the World Surfing Reserve at the top of the respective rankings and, therefore, owners of the yellow lycras Go Chill. From the 10th to the 12th of June, coinciding with the start of the competition with the Day of Portugal, the Allianz Ericeira Pro is getting ready to take a lot of emotion to one of the most mythical natural amphitheaters of national surfing.
A competition that will have the extra incentive of coming after one of the greatest achievements of Portuguese surfing internationally, with the triumph of Teresa Bonvalot in the Sydney Surf Pro, stage of the Challenger Series circuit of the World Surf League, which gives access to the first division of world surfing.
Everything is ready for a stage that promises a very high level of surfing and with high expectations, both from the male and female sides, with the waves of the World Surfing Reserve as the stage for this true parade of national surfing stars.
