The Show Dinner has arrived at WOW. The first shows will take place at Restaurant 1828, which will host dinners that are a live sung and danced show. Inspired by the Moulin Rouge, The Show Dinner tells the story of this emblematic cabaret venue, portraying the luxurious and exuberant atmosphere of Paris.
The Show Dinner is a format based on successful concepts existing in other cities, such as Paris, London, or New York, where the waiters are the artists themselves, singing and dancing among the audience, breaking away from the classic stage model. Thus, the barrier between artists and the audience is broken, creating a more immersive and interactive experience.
At WOW it will be no different. It will be a staged dinner, where everything is meticulously planned. The show aims to be a unique and differentiating program in the city. With well-known songs, the show appeals to collective memory, capturing the attention and interaction of everyone from the start of dinner to dessert.
As for the menu, it is specially created for this evening. It starts with an onion soup, evolves into a fish stew with seabass and mussels, proceeds to a grilled beef tenderloin, and ends with the freshness of a lemon tart. Each stage of the dinner is properly paired with Portuguese wines.
The first shows, now available for online reservation, will take place on the nights of November 21 and 28 and December 5, always on Thursdays. The amount to be paid per person is 125 euros. This is a production by Ludi’arte for WOW.
