From the story The Girl of the Sea, Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, and the music of Bernardo Sassetti, the actress Carla Galvão and the pianist and composer Filipe Raposo create a poetic universe on stage, with the help of illustrations and animations of Beatriz Bagulho: Telling this story as one who enters a house that is very important for us, trying to fix in our visual and sonorous memory its architecture. Tell this story as one who makes an attempt to preserve the deep beauty of things. Knowing, however, that they melt away like the waves of the sea or the dunes. To tell this story as one who fixes on words music and words on music, so that the white house is built in front of the enormous sea, with your garden of sand and sea flowers.
Those who seek a just relationship with the stone, with the tree, with the river, are necessarily carried by the spirit of truth that encourages them to seek a just relationship with a man.
Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen
