2018 is ending, the new year is coming and in the biggest theatre in Lisbon, the party lasts three days.
Fireworks, music and lots of animation are the ingredients for another New Year’s Eve in the Commerce Square. Daniel Pereira Christ with Tatanka, João Só and Ana Bacalhau warm-up last night of the year, 2019 is toasted with a 12-minute piromusical spectacle and the party continues later in the night, with Richie Campbell, Dengaz, Mishlawi, Plutonio and DJ Dadda.
But the year-end party lasts three days and on the 29th, Saturday, Branko invites to the stage Cachupa Psicadélica, Dino D’Santiago, Carlão and Sara Tavares. To not lose.
On Sunday, 30, the night is filled by the Metropolitan Orchestra of Lisbon, with the soloists Carlos Guilherme (Tenor) and Elisabete Matos (Soprano).
Faced with the number of people expected for the festivities, particularly on the night of 31st, Commerce Square and some surrounding arteries will be subject to traffic conditions. The Lisbon City Council calls for preferential use of public transport.
