4th CityZen Stakeholders Meeting focusing on urban agriculture

The CityZen project, funded by INTERREG Europe, responds to the growing number of cities and regions that recognize the benefits of urban agriculture as a way of living sustainably and aims to promote urban agriculture as a successful driving force for economic and social transformation, introducing the concept to decision makers as well as influencing policy.

CityZen intends to explore the new successful (business) values ​​that urban agriculture brings to the ecosystem and link them to innovative entrepreneurship and supply chains, thus contributing to an improvement in regional policies to create opportunities for entrepreneurship and boosting business and social transformation in this theme.

In the context of the project, the Municipality of Beja and the Intermunicipal Community of Baixo Alentejo, as partners, invite you to participate in the Local Support Group for the project, and to the working session at the second online meeting of stakeholders, taking place on the 21st. of July, from 10:30 am.

Sharing the next steps of the project, best practices in the region and urban agriculture in Germany, Bulgaria, Greece and Spain are the main objectives of the meeting.
