João Pedro Pais celebrates his 25 years of career with two very special concerts at Coliseus this year. October 7th at Coliseu Porto AGEAS and November 4th at Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon.

On November 4, 1997, João Pedro Pais edited his first album of originals, Segredos, proving to be a true sales success. The themes “Ninguém (é de ninguém)” and “Louco (por ti)” became emblematic milestones in the artist’s career and in the Portuguese songbook, and are still sung with one voice in all concerts.

25 years later, on November 4, 2022, João Pedro Pais releases Amor Urbano, the 9th album of originals – setting the tone for the start of a tour that celebrates this milestone in his career.

To mark these 25 years of editions, João Pedro Pais will once again take the stage of two of the most emblematic national venues with the show “Coliseus – 25 Years”.

This celebration of his career includes a carefully thought-out show that will cover the themes that have marked the Portuguese people over the last 25 years, but also the new songs that João Pedro Pais has just released on this latest album.

With an artistic career spanning more than two decades, hundreds of concerts, and around 450,000 records sold, João Pedro Pais is today, without a doubt, one of the most cherished artists by the Portuguese public.

On stage, in addition to other guests, João Pedro Pais will be accompanied by musicians with whom he has shared the stage in recent years: Rui Almeida (piano), Fernando Tavares (drums/percussion), Sérgio Mendes (guitar) and Donovan Bettencourt (bass).
