The Municipal Library D. Miguel da Silva promotes, once again, the contest “Quadras de São Martinho” and invites the entire community to participate in the celebration of this festivity.
All those who want to be part of this initiative must write a maximum of four original blocks alluding to this theme. Participation can be individual or in a group. Five categories will be considered for the division of competitors: 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle of basic education, secondary education and community in general.
During the evaluation, criteria such as creativity and originality in the approach to the proposed theme will be taken into account, as well as the coherence, cohesion and organization of the blocks.
Original works are accepted until October 30th. Delivery must be made on paper, in a sealed envelope, with the author’s name inside and the pseudonym on the outside.
The general public is asked to leave their verses at the D. Miguel da Silva Municipal Library. Students are invited to deposit the works in competition in the library of the school where they are enrolled.
