PAEZ surprises once again with the launch of a capsule collection co-created with renowned and emerging artists, designers and thinkers, with a single purpose and condition: to maintain its DNA as an inclusive and collaborative brand and for each invited artist to be aligned with the brand’s values and culture.
The spring-summer 2025 edition of Paez’s Collabs has just arrived and has come for a second chapter alongside the artist Guilherme Atanásio, an electrical engineer by training, but a phenomenon in visual arts by vocation.
After a resounding success alongside the artist, in 2023, the iconic footwear brand Paez returns with a new story and a second chapter, taking the partnership with Portuguese artist Guilherme Atanásio to another level, raising the bar at which art is back on the market and comes in pairs.
The 30-year-old self-taught artist, who has been captivating us with emotionally charged, abstract and always surprising works since 2018, has once again opened the doors of his creative world to Paez, for the PAEZ X GUILHERME ATANÁSIO collection, in which the “encore” is, above all, an evolution.
If in the first edition he showed us a vibrant and intuitive universe, now he brings us something even more intimate. For this new collection, Guilherme chose some
of his most personal works of choice—canvases where stories, emotions and contradictions coexist, whether it be childhood nostalgia, the permission to be ourselves or the search for peace in chaos. And it was from these that three original and soulful patterns were born, in which the wearer of these Paez shoes also becomes the storyteller, interpreter and narrator.
Another novelty in this capsule collection is that each pair of shoes is unique, this time, literally. The fabric is randomly cut over Guilherme’s paintings, making each pair a unique fragment of the original work. No two shoes are the same — and that’s precisely the magic of these new PAEZ X GUILHERME ATANÁSIO shoes.
