A Câmara Municipal de Coimbra dá continuidade, nos próximos dias 9, 10 e 11 de julho, ao ciclo “Música n’Aldeia”

The project “Música n’Aldeia” is a success, with a total of 12 concerts, which took place in the church of Taveiro, Monastery of São Marcos, Capela de S. The initiative, which comes within the scope of a winning proposal of the 3rd edition of the Participatory Budget of the Municipality of Coimbra, by Diana Luís Antunes, music teacher and violist, continues on Friday, July 9th, at 7 pm, with a contemporary music concert, with wind instruments, starring the OpuSpiritum Ensemble, in the parish church of São Martinho do Bispo. On Saturday, July 10, at 7 pm, at the church of Santo António dos Olivais, the concert will feature Renaissance music, performed by a vocal group and instrumentalist Capella Sanctae Crucis. Finally, on Sunday, July 11, at 5 pm, the Seminary Major will host the Quintet with Piano, which will perform a concert of classical romantic music.

Admission to the shows is free and will comply with the contingency rules currently practiced in churches, admission being on a first-come, first-served basis.

This program, which integrates four musical cycles – Renaissance, Baroque, classical, romantic, and contemporary music – will count with the participation of hundreds of musicians, the performance of numerous pieces and musical instruments, from the harp, violin or cello, passing through the piano, viola, double bass or wind instruments, without forgetting the performance of choral groups, until the next 25th of July.
