The Parish of Santo António takes its children to the cinema
while shopping for Christmas
On the weekends of December, the Parish of Santo António wants to help parents who go shopping for Christmas and brings a surprise: Take the little ones to the cinema while parents do their shopping, right in the heart of Lisbon.
Plunging into the Christmas spirit, and knowing how difficult it is to do Christmas shopping with children – because often the purchases are for them – the Parish of Santo António wants to help. Thus proposed to all parents and guardians that leave the little ones with accredited monitors who will take them to the cinema and then perform activities related to the film shown.
“We are attentive to what is happening and the conversations around us. We realize that this is a general problem and we wanted to offer more of this solution” – says the president of the parish of Santo António, Vasco Morgado. “And we have all come across this problem that is not being able to go with the children to buy gifts for them. And so we created this activity” – he adds.
This program takes place in the cinema São Jorge on 14, 15, 21 and 22 December with the following films:
14 December – Monsters and Company
15 December – A Life of Insect
21 December – Aladdin (v 2019)
22 December – Toy Story
The activity takes place from 10 am to 1 pm and admission is free, simply by collecting tickets at the Parish headquarters or polo.
And a Merry Christmas to all, HO, HO, HO.
