À Mesa is the new EP by Gonçalo e Pronto
After releasing his debut EP Passatempo in 2020, Gonçalo e Pronto revealed his new album, titled À Mesa.
If “by talking we understand each other”, then let it be at the table! This is the proposal for the new album by the artist from Evora, composed of six themes that, individually, metaphorically describe a different meal in the life of Gonçalo e Pronto, from a breakfast or light aperitif where the musician, singer, and composer sought to remove the weight from more difficult to digest experiences, to denser meals that allowed him to explore less comfortable subjects, facing them and demystifying certain prejudices or malformed beliefs.
With a very unique and pertinent sound within the Pop universe, and with a strong autobiographical aspect, the EP À Mesa is composed of six songs, including “Caju” and “Vai Tu À Frente”, preview singles, and was a profound exercise in self-knowledge for Gonçalo and Pronto: “The idea for the EP came after realizing that the most memorable experiences, memories, and personal reflections had been shared around the table, whether with family, friends, or even alone”, highlights the artist.
The album is available digitally from September 29th.

Gonçalo e Pronto will also present the EP for the first time live and with a support band, on December 9th at Sociedade Harmonia Eborense, in Évora.
