On the weekend of November 13th and 14th, “A Monstrinha vai ao NorteShopping” to take to the Center the children’s version of the famous Lisbon Animation Festival, also known as Monstra. The festival adapted to the little ones — Monstrinha — is free and promises an unforgettable cinema experience over five sessions of short films for the whole family.
In these sessions, which will take place in Cinema NOS at NorteShopping, families will have the opportunity to watch animated short films from different geographies of the planet in an intermittent format thinking about children aged three years and over. “Truffles” (Czech Republic, 2019), “Ballad of Musical Notes” (China, 2020) or “A Lynx in the City” (France, 2019) are some of the titles that are part of the schedule for Saturday.
On Sunday, “O Malabarista” (Brazil, 2019), “Ilha Longínqua” (United Kingdom, 2020), “A Bruxa e o Bebé” (United Kingdom, 2020), among others, will be screened. In total, there are 32 shorts from two to 18 minutes.

This action is part of the “Cultura no Centro” initiative, the project of the centers managed by Sonae Sierra that aims to support national artists and cultural entities, bringing art to all Portuguese, from the north to the south of the country.
