The traditional season of sweet almonds and egg hunts is just around the corner and, as such, Meliá Braga Hotel & Spa has prepared a special program for a family getaway, including VIP treatment upon arrival, Spa and a fantastic lunch at Easter Sunday.
This package includes accommodation for two or three nights in a double room, buffet breakfast, and access to the health club, with a gym, swimming pool and spa, where it is possible to have a jet spa treatment. Half board includes a selection of drinks, as well as a buffet lunch on Easter Sunday at the hotel’s own “El Olivo” restaurant.
The menu includes, as starters, stuffed crab, cooked shrimp, mussels, various salads, ham with melon, octopus vinaigrette, sausage and cheese boards, sautéed vegetables and savoury snacks. Hot dishes follow, such as Starlets in the rising sun with chicken threads, Rich carrot cream with croutons, Traditional Braga-style cod, Tranche of hake drizzled with pink seafood sauce, Easter goat with new potatoes El Olivo and Rump Tenderloins and Roasted Almonds.
To end most sweetly, as Easter should be, there will be a dessert table, consisting of sponge cake, cream milk, chocolate mousse, almond tart, soaked orange tart from the convent of Santa Clara, pear flavour honey, rice pudding, mountain cheese and pumpkin jam, laminated fruit board and, finally, a basket of the whole fruit.
On this festive day, it is only possible to enjoy lunch on March 31st for €59 per person.
