This Friday, August 11, Prime Video premieres the second season of Cruel Summer. All episodes are available on the same day, with the exception of the United States and Canada.
The second season of the Cruel Summer anthology series features an all-new cast and mystery. In a small coastal town in the Pacific Northwest, Season 2 of Cruel Summer follows the beginnings and ends of an intense teenage friendship. Telling the story across three distinct timelines in the early 2000s, this season takes surprising turns as it follows Megan, Isabella, and Luke’s friendship, the love triangle that blossomed, and the mystery that impacted their lives in the future. The series stars Sadie Stanley, Lexi Underwood, Griffin Gluck, KaDee Strickland, Lisa Yamada, and Sean Blakemore. Also participating are Paul Adelstein and Braeden De La Garza.
Cruel Summer is produced by eOne, created by Bert V. Royal, and directed by Elle Triedman. Executive producers include Triedman, Bill Purple, and Tia Napolitano, as well as Jessica Biel and Michelle Purple of Iron Ocean Productions. The series is distributed internationally through eOne.
