Professional registration for MUMI 2021 is open from June 7th

From the 7th of June, all people interested in participating in MUMI 2021 can register for the meeting through the website mumimusicas.eu.

The Minho music meeting, which takes place between 9 and 11 September at Eurocidade Tui-Valença, is aimed at music and cultural professionals from Galicia and Portugal. The organization works on a schedule that includes showcases, conferences and joint work sessions; a program that will spread over Tui and Valença for three days with the aim of becoming a reference meeting point in the western peninsular. Registration is free and is open until the date of the event.

E management production companies, music program managers, culture managers and technicians, journalists and artists are invited to enroll in MUMI 2021. The meeting schedule will be presented in the coming weeks with an offer of live music in showcase format with artists from both banks of the river Minho. In 2021, MUMI opened registration for the participation of bands and artists from Portugal; the Galician groups whose performance was planned at last year’s meeting, suspended by the pandemic, will be scheduled again in 2021, as the event’s organization had undertaken. In addition to the live music program and showcases, MUMI 2021 prepares a proposal for conferences and training activities on the one hand and meetings of companies and professionals on the other. The aim is to convert MUMI into a space for mutual knowledge, opportunities, alliances, networking and the design of future projects. Since the organization of MUMI, the social, economic and media impact of the event has been highlighted, encouraging all people working in the music sector in Galicia and Portugal to participate in the program to be developed between September 9th and 11th by registering through the web at mumimusicas.me.

The event also offers activities and live music for the general public. In collaboration with the municipalities of Tui and Valença, emblematic spaces in both cities will host different proposals with the aim of giving visibility not only to artists and bands, but also the possibilities of joint work in this strategic alliance that is the Eurocity Tui-Valença.
