The three prizes will be presented at the Sophia awards ceremony, which will take place on September 17, at Casino Estoril, in Lisbon.
Maria Abreu was one of the protagonists of the film “Tristeza e Alegria na Vida das Girafas”, by Tiago Guedes, while João Nunes Monteiro is awarded for his performance in “Mosquito”, by João Nuno Pinto, and Gonçalo Almeida for the performance of “Faz-me Company”.
The prize is worth a thousand euros and has the support of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa.
