The prize winner will be awarded 2,000 euros and the edition of his work, and five other works will also be distinguished, which will also be edited.
The AAC initiative aims to encourage the creation of literary works by anonymous writers who are students of higher education enrolled in any Portuguese higher education institution.
The jury for the award will be composed by the writer Manuel Alegre, who presides over it, the full professor and former president of AAC Clara Rocha, the writer José Manuel Mendes, the politician and administrator of the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian Guilherme d’Oliveira Martins, the politician and former president of AAC Alberto Martins and current president of the association, João Assunção.
Contest contests must be between 15,000 and 30,000 characters.
The application phase is open until April 26, with a public announcement ceremony for the winner scheduled for May 31.
