Accenture named leader in security management services in Europe
Accenture has been named a leader in security management services in Europe, according to the latest report from Forrester Research. The report evaluated Accenture before the company acquired Symantec Cyber Security Services (CSS).
This analysis is focused on the strengths and weaknesses of the 13 main suppliers and is based on 29 criteria, grouped into three high-level categories: current offer, strategy, and market presence.
Accenture obtained the highest score in criteria such as technical and business value, strategic roadmap as a service provider, research, development and innovation management, and in the revenue obtained from these services.
Accenture also received scores among the highest in analysis and correlation of network/endpoint events and applications, analytical data and automation, and in incident management processes. According to the report, “Accenture’s strength lies in its high flexibility, customer focus, and emphasis on automation.”
Accenture is said to have one of Forrester Wave’s most outstanding partnership and alliance programs, thanks to co-investment in jointly building exclusive market offerings.
The publication also highlights that “Accenture has demonstrated great capacity in the cloud … and customers agree, praising it more than any other supplier in the study.”

In addition to being named leader in this European security management services report “The Forrester Wave ™: European Managed Security Services Providers, Q3 2020”, Q3 2020, Accenture Security was also positioned as a leader in “The Forrester Wave ™: European Cybersecurity Consulting Providers, Q4 2019” on European consultancy services for the fourth quarter of 2019.
