Achada Grande Frente hosts International Public Art Festival
This event takes place within the scope of the urban art program of the Xalabas – di Kumunidadi project and will include individual and collective works of art, workshops and musical concerts.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he festival aims to boost the development of the Achada Grande Frente neighborhood by creating alternative tourist circuits, using urban art as a tool for local promotion.
In this sense, FAP will have a longer duration, which will allow a less intense program of events and a more gradual presence of national and international artists. The artists will act through dialogue with the residents, to carry out the artistic intervention and the socio-cultural specificities of the place where the works are executed.
During the festival, individual and collective works of art, artistic residency, open conversations, workshops, exhibitions, guided tours, performance and music are planned.
The curator of FAP is the artist and anthropologist Lorenzo Bordonaro in collaboration with the sociologist Redy Wilson Lima.
