Mimicat was the big winner of this edition of Festival da Canção. The artist will take “Ai Coração” to Eurovision, in Liverpool, and will now join Sons em Trânsito.
Performer, interpreter, and composer from a very young age, Mimicat made herself known to the public in 2014. Passionate about the pop universe, her greatest inspiration is the great voices of black music.
She presented her debut album, “For You”, on tour to the most renowned stages in the country and abroad, in Brazil, where she performed at one of the biggest events in São Paulo, the “Virada Cultural”.
“Tudo ao Ar”, a 2021 single, is part of the soundtrack of the soap opera “Quero é Viver”, shown on TVI and has proved to be a streaming and airplay success.
Now, Mimicat is preparing its third album of originals, which will be called “Peito” and will include, among others, the theme that gave it first place at the Festival da Canção 2023 and which will lead to Eurovision, “Ai Coração”.
