Al Hilal, coached by Portugal’s Jorge Jesus, thrashed Al Naft 4-0 in the first leg of the first knockout round of the Arab League of Champions.

Frenchman Gomis of penálti made the first, before former Sporting and Benfica Carrillo make it 2-0 and Al Shahrani increases the score, complete with an own goal in the 70th minute, in a match that leaves the Saudi emblem very close to the ‘ rooms’ of the competition.

The second leg against the Iraqi formation is scheduled for November 14.
