Loafing Hero edited his debut album Jabuti on vinyl and digital platforms.
Jabuti is the first album by Loafing Hero, the musical alter ego of Irish-born philosopher and university professor Bartholomew Ryan. But his career as a musician didn’t start now… “The Loafing Heroes was (and is) my main international music project for many years (more than 10 years). Bartholomew Ryan has lived in Lisbon for over a decade where he teaches at a university and has already edited and written numerous books on philosophy and literature, including Fernando Pessoa. In musical terms, he was one of the founding elements of the group The Loafing Heroes (who edited 6 albums between 2009 and 2019) and also plays in the experimental music group Headfoot (with Colm O’Ciosoig – member of My Bloody Valentine, and Rosie O ‘Reilly).
Before the release of Jabuti the singles Darkening Flame and Subterranean were edited.
Jabuti is now available on digital platforms and in physical format.
