Casino Estoril hosted the last concert “Alceu Valença a Solo” with a house full of fans to hear the songs of the Brazilian singer and composer.
Alceu Valença, after having passed through Coimbra, Ovar, Braga, Marinha Grande, Setúbal, performed at Casino Estoril the last of the “Alceu Valença a Solo” concerts in Portugal, one of the most renowned Brazilian singer-songwriters, with a career of five decades, and with a huge legion of fans, as seen in Estoril.
The audience that filled the Grand Auditorium was dazzled, sang and applauded the songs of Alceu, who took Recife, the “agreste” and the “sertão” to Casino Estoril, themes such as “Belle de Jour”, “Anunciação”, “Tropicana”, “Táxi Lunar”, among many others, were moments of communion between the public and the Brazilian singer.
The first part was in charge of the Colombian-Mexican singer and songwriter Mari Segura, who presented her debut EP, “Piano, Piano”, her indie-folk and pop songs, quickly conquered the public, Mari who participated in “The Voice Portugal” from RTP and already at that time impressed the judges in the blind test turning four chairs and winning, precisely, a place in the grand final.
