The Brazilian musician Alceu Valença will perform, on the 4th of October, at 9.30 pm, at Casino Estoril. The singer, composer, and instrumentalist from Pernambuco take the stage of Salão Preto e Prata to present his new show “Alceu Dispor”. Numerous hits will be on display that won over different generations of fans.
“Alceu Dispor”, the title of his most recent show, makes available to the public an avalanche of hits, enshrined in several countries, with capital access numbers on streaming platforms.
Alongside his band, the singer interprets themes of his own, such as, for example,“Anunciação”, “Tropicana”, “Coração Bobo”, “Taxi Lunar”, “Pelas Ruas que Andei”, “Girassol”, “Como Dois Animais” and “Belle de Jour”.
The repertoire also includes classics of Northeastern music, such as “Baião”, “O Canto da Ema”, “Sabiá”, “Xote das Meninas” and “Pagode Russo”, which reinforce the fingerprints of Brazil deep in the artist’s identity.
With more than five million followers on his networks – and 240 million hits of the song “Belle de Jour” on YouTube -, Alceu Valença is available to fans of multiple nationalities, with a growing fan base on all continents. His new album, Senhora Estrada, won the Grammy for Best Roots Music Album in Portuguese, 2022.
Expectantly awaited, Alceu Valença will be accompanied by Tovinho (keyboards), André Julião (accordion), Zi Ferreira (guitar), Nando Barreto (bass), Cassio Cunha (drums).
After selling out 12 concerts in ten countries last summer, Brazilian singer Alceu Valença is preparing a new European tour, in the coming months of September and October, returning, once again, to Casino Estoril. The tour also includes Amsterdam, Berlin, Dublin, London, Paris, Barcelona, Figueira da Foz, Porto, and Lisbon, cities where Valença has an increasingly consolidated audience.
