Alvo recognized as Microsoft Gold Partner

Alvo, a leading national technology company in the implementation of innovative management software solutions, has just been awarded the Microsoft Gold Partner Certification for its Communications and Project & Portfolio Management area.

The Gold certification highlights the technical skills of the teams, sales volume in the various Microsoft offers, and license usage levels by their respective customers. Only partners who reach high sales volumes and who have a considerable number of certified employees on their staff can be eligible for this level.

To achieve Gold certification in these two areas of activity, Alvo had to comply with a set of demanding criteria, namely: team certification processes that allowed consolidating the degree of knowledge and experience in the operation of Microsoft technologies; submit customer references on this technology and participate in the satisfaction survey submitted by Microsoft to Target customers, which demonstrated excellent success rates in all areas involved.

Achieving the Gold level for Target was a natural step in our partnership with Microsoft. Since the creation of Microsoft’s most popular Cloud products, we were early adopters and quickly realized the advantages they bring to small and medium businesses,” says Carlos Couto, Director of Alvo, “All of Alvo’s consultants are big fans of the platform Office 365 and Teams and this enthusiasm is easy to transmit to our Clients, which allowed us to reach very high adoption volumes and thus achieve Gold certification in these two areas.

As a Microsoft Gold partner, Alvo seeks to enhance its experience and maturity in the technological market with the continuous reinforcement of its technical capacity in Microsoft technologies, responding to the demanding needs of an increasingly cloud-first market.

The achievement of Gold competence in the areas of Communications and Project & Portfolio Management, by Alvo, represents recognition by Microsoft of the strong investment in training that Alvo has made in our technology in these areas and a sign of confidence for the market“, says Abel Aguiar, Executive Director for Channel and Partners at Microsoft Portugal.

To achieve this prestigious certification, Alvo’s priorities were centered on workplace technologies, such as Office 365, Intune and Microsoft Teams, and on cloud infrastructure such as the Azure platform.

Continuing with this level of demand is the objective and for this reason the next steps will involve the acquisition of skills in Data Analytic, and in the development of applications in Azure, in order to make use of technologies and tools that can help their Clients to be more successful in their respective areas of activity.
