The “Conversa da Treta” project was born in 1997 and became a phenomenon. From the stage, he went to radio, television, cinema and books, always with enormous success. It was one of the two shows that Coliseus performed most in Portugal. With the departure of our beloved António Feio, Treta continued to live and Zézé, the iconic character created by José Pedro Gomes, returned in 2016 with “Filho da Treta” in a duo with António Machado and 2019 with “Casal da Treta” with the incredible Ana Bola. Success has accompanied the various Tretas over the years and, in 2024, in the digital era and with the strength of social networks, a new life from this universe arrives – “Amigos da Treta” – in a duo with Aldo Lima.
Influencers, coaching and lifestyle gurus, artificial intelligence and natural stupidity – the new bullshit that joins the old bullshit, and makes this world of bullshit grow where there is more and more talk… bullshit. Jóni, Zézé’s friend who went away to do Erasmus in a distant land — an adventure that forced him to take the biggest trip of his life and even have to cross the bridge over the Tagus never to be seen again — now returns to the neighbourhood from bowels of the earth. Literally. Especially because, as soon as it arrives, it falls into the hole in the subway expansion works and partially ruptures the cruciate ligament of the electronic cigarette. Jóni, the self-proclaimed guru of hashtag-god-in-command spirituality and medicines based on milkshakes with kombucha shavings, is welcomed by an emotional Zezé, who never forgot his friend… except the name, the face, the voice, the hairstyle and the real place where he lived. They will now catch up, remember the past that they both agree is a kind of future that fell by the wayside, comment on the present that they both understand to be past that is happening at that exact moment and predict the future, which nothing It’s more than a past that insists on being present but always arrives late because it has mania.
