Amigos da Treta, summer season in Lisbon
Starting on July 10th at Teatro Villaret
After a very successful season in Lisbon and a national tour with dozens of performances throughout the country, the show AMIGOS DA TRETA returns to the capital for a Summer Season.
Starting on July 10th, José Pedro Gomes and Aldo Lima will once again take to the stage at Teatro Villaret, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, to continue spreading the good humour (and the treta) that won over thousands of spectators.
Before that, AMIGOS DA TRETA stops in Porto, for a season at Teatro Sá da Bandeira, from May 9th to 25th.
Influencers, coaching and lifestyle gurus, artificial intelligence and natural stupidity – the new tretas that join the usual treta, and make this world of treta grow, where more and more people talk about… treta. Jóni, a friend of Zézé who left to do Erasmus in a distant land — an adventure that forced him to take the longest trip of his life and even cross the bridge over the Tagus River, never to be seen again — now returns to the neighbourhood from the bowels of the earth. Literally. After all, as soon as he arrives, he falls into the hole in the subway expansion works and partially ruptures the cruciate ligament of his electronic cigarette. Jóni, a self-proclaimed guru of hashtag-god-in-command spirituality and medicines based on milkshakes with kombucha zest, is welcomed by an emotional Zezé, who never forgot his friend… except for his name, face, voice, hairstyle and the place where he lived. They will now catch up, remember the past that they both agree is a kind of future that was left behind, comment on the present that they both understand to be a past that is happening at that exact moment, and predict the future, which is nothing more than a past that insists on being present but always arrives late because it has a habit.
