In July, Super Bock Super Rock once again becomes the epicentre of the most authentic music of the moment. On the 18th, 19th and 20th, a crowd of music lovers flock to Meco, driven by passion and also curiosity.
Adam Aminé Daniel, better known by his stage name, Aminé, is a rapper, singer and songwriter from Portland, Oregon. He started recording music when he was still in high school, releasing independent mixtapes that caught the attention of listeners closest to him. Aminé entered the public scene more seriously in 2016 with the release of the single “Caroline”.
The song became an instant hit, reaching the top of the music charts and catapulting Aminé into the mainstream music scene. In 2017, Aminé released his debut album. “Good For You” received critical acclaim and consolidated his position as one of the most promising talents of the new generation of rappers.
The album presents a wide variety of styles, from hip-hop to R&B, and demonstrates Aminé’s artistic versatility. Since then, he hasn’t stopped editing, collaborating with other artists and expanding his popularity. His second album, “Limbo”, released in 2020, once again received critical acclaim and presented an evolution in his musical style. In 2021 he released his most ambitious work yet: “TwoPointFive”.
On this record Aminé explores new musical territories, drawing inspiration from club music in a way he has never embraced before. The video for its lead single, “Charmander”, was celebrated as one of the best of the year by GQ, Pitchfork, and Highsnobiety, among other publications.
In 2023 he released “Kaytraminé”, the debut album of his project with producer Kaytranada. He is, therefore, a rapper at the top of his game who passes through Portugal, in the next edition of Super Bock Super Rock, on July 19th, on the Pull & Bear Stage.
Singer-songwriter Fridayy, born and raised in Philadelphia, is one of the most promising names in the new generation of rappers, with one of the strongest and most identifiable voices. Music appeared early in his life, participating in the choir of the church where his father was pastor.
And at just six years old he had already been introduced to piano, bass and guitar. But things started to get more serious in his teens when he began to explore the potential of his laptop. His fame exploded after participating in DJ Khaled’s song “God Did”, alongside names like Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and John Legend. The song was nominated for three Grammys and catapulted Fridayy to international fame, but the success didn’t stop there. Thanks to the song “Forever”, with Lil Baby, Fridayy reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
After these successes, and already with a worldwide fan base, the rapper released his debut album in 2023. “Fridayy” features singles as strong as “Don’t Give It Away”, featuring Chris Brown, or “When It Comes To You”.
Among their successful collaborations are songs such as “Lies” by Money Bagg Yo, “The Biggest” by EST GEE, “Room Comfort” by Rylo Rodriguez, “Sisi Ganja” by Adekunle Gold, “See The Light” by Swedish House Mafia, and “Counting on You” from the Fast and Furious 10 soundtrack.
His strong and deep voice has conquered the world in recent years and also promises to win over the Meco audience at the next edition of Super Bock Super Rock, on July 19th, on the Pull & Bear Stage.

He began releasing independent music and building a fan base before attracting the attention of an increasingly wider audience. In 2019, Kenny Mason released his debut album, “Angelic Hoodrat”. This record was well received by the public and critics, helping to consolidate his position as one of the most promising voices in the North American underground rap scene, thanks to songs such as “Hit”, “Metal Wings” and “PTSD”. Since then, Kenny hasn’t stopped producing and surprising.
