Amoreiras 360º Panoramic View celebrates Museum Day

On May 18th, Amoreiras 360º Panoramic View marks International Museum Day, offering free entry throughout the day, to promote the history of Portuguese cultural heritage.

This emblematic viewpoint of Lisbon offers an insight into the city from another perspective, with 360º views.

This year with the theme “Museums, Education and Research”, the thematic date aims to highlight the importance of museums as dynamic educational institutions that promote learning, discovery and cultural understanding.

The objective of International Museum Day is to raise awareness of the fact that museums are an important means of cultural exchange, and enrichment of cultures, as well as developing mutual understanding, cooperation and peace between peoples.

Without registration required, visitors should go to the Information Desk, inside the Amoreiras Shopping Center (1st floor, next to Fnac) and collect their ticket. The viewpoint is open from 10 am to 10 pm.
