The Na Minha Casa Festival promoted by Casa do Artista welcomed Ana Bacalhau yesterday at the Armando Cortez Theater with another excellent concert to raise funds for Casa do Artista.
Ana Bacalhau is a hurricane on stage, her energy, friendliness and talents are endless, yesterday on stage she took the audience on a journey full of wonderful songs, joy and humour, in a show that left everyone captivated.
With a program that featured her hits and new songs, interspersed with stories, moments of humour and lots of applause, Ana won over fans and friends from the very first song. Always challenging the audience to dance with her, she twice walked through the audience to invite them to sing with her.
Ana Bacalhau is not only one of the best voices in Portugal but also one of the most friendly and electrifying stage artists, who yesterday was joined by one of the most talented Portuguese guitarists, Eugénia Contente.
The Festival ends next Tuesday, February 4th, you will also be able to see Carolina de Deus (February 3rd) and Marco Rodrigues (February 4th).
The Na Minha Casa Festival has a charitable component, with artists offering their proceeds to the Casa do Artista, thus contributing to the requalification of the Theatre. Tickets for the shows cost €25 and are now on sale at Ticketline and the usual locations.
“The idea of this Festival is that both artists and the public feel, in fact, at home. Because the Artist’s House is exactly that, it is the House of all of us. It also has a relevant solidarity component, as artists always have this extraordinary capacity to mobilize around Causes. And this is a very important Cause/House for the artistic class, very dear to all of us”, highlights José Raposo, president of the Council of Casa do Artista.
