Ana Lua Caiano is the protagonist of the new edition of the COLORS Show, a project known for its minimalist and visually impactful musical performances, where artists from various genres present their music in a studio with solid color, without external distractions.
The focus is entirely on the music and the voice, offering a unique platform for both emerging and established artists to gain international visibility. Ana Lua Caiano thus joins the still limited group of Portuguese artists participating in the channel, demonstrating the relevance and richness of contemporary national music on a global stage.
“Deixem o Morto Morrer,” after winning the Golden Globe for Best Song in Portugal on September 29, is the artist’s featured song in the COLORS sessions, an international vehicle for promoting music that has nearly 8 million subscribers on YouTube, where names like Billie Eilish, Black Pumas, Angèle, among many others, have already performed.
Since the release of her debut album Vou Ficar Neste Quadrado, published by the German label Glitterbeat, Ana Lua Caiano has been highly praised by international specialized critics, appearing in various highlights in media across Europe (BBC, The Wire Magazine, Songlines, Le Monde, Monocle, El País) and even reaching the other side of the Atlantic with several features on North American radios (KEXP).
The artist has also performed on many stages during a tour presenting the album both inside and outside the country, participating in international festivals like WOMEX, BIME Bilbao, FIRA B!, MUM, Live Europe, Les Trans Musicales, Roskilde Festival, Les Sud à Arles, La Mar de Músicas, Reeperbahn, or soon at the Oslo World Fest.
Until the end of the year, Ana Lua Caiano will embark on a European tour that passes through countries like Spain, Norway, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, and France.
