Ana Lua Caiano enters 2024 on the right foot by releasing a new song from what will be her debut album. “Vou Ficar Neste Quadrado” is the artist’s new theme and follows the release of her most recent single, “Deixem o Morto Morrer”.
“Vou Ficar Neste Quadrado” is the new title by Ana Lua Caiano and reveals a little more about her new album. A song with the artist’s already recognizable loops, but which expands the use she has made so far with more rhythmic repetitions that invite the release of movements, a continuation of the very rhythmic single “Deixem o Morto Morrer”.
This is an invitation from Ana Lua Caiano to people to start the year in the best way: with new music and another excuse to continue dancing even after the celebrations of entering the new year.
2024 promises to be a year of consolidation and many challenges for the artist, full of new music to be released, but also with many national and international stages to set foot on. The new album will be presented live for the first time in two special concerts on April 5th, at Plano B, in Porto and on April 11th, at B.Leza, in Lisbon.
Shortly, she is confirmed for events such as Eurosonic Noorderslag (Groningen, Netherlands) and is nominated for the Music Moves Europe Awards (the European Union awards that celebrate emerging artists who represent the European sound of today and the future, recognizing its national and international success), as announced for Primavera Sound (Porto) and Kalorama (Lisbon).
After the release of the first EPs “Cheguei Tarde a Ontem” (2022) and “Se Dançar É Só Além” (2023), Ana Lua Caiano now begins a new journey in her still-short artistic career, by releasing the first two songs of what will be his debut full-length album. With a release date in the first quarter of 2024.
2023 was a unique year for the artist. After releasing her second EP, the artist performed on various stages throughout Portugal (North, South, from the Center to the Azores and Madeira), attending festivals such as NOS Alive, Festival Músicas do Mundo de Sines, MIL Lisboa, among others. It was also in this year that he debuted live on international dates, visiting cities such as Vigo (ES), Madrid (ES), Luxembourg City (LUX) and festivals such as BIME (Bilbao, ES), Fira B!, ( Mallorca, ES) and the ACC World Music Festival (Gwangju, South Korea).
