Ana Palma and Cliff Andrade are part of Paula Rego’s exhibition
Ana Palma, born in Viana do Castelo, competed with a pencil and watercolor drawing, while Cliff Andrade, trained in Glasgow, Scotland, presented a photograph.
The two works will be exhibited together with 11 engravings by Paula Rego, including ‘La Mano Muerta’, published by artist Paula Rego in 2020 from a plate designed in 1962/64 and which will be seen in public for the first time.
The exhibition, programmed by Mara Alves, intends to mark the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union in the first half of 2021 and will take place at the 12 Star gallery, located in the European Parliament’s delegation building in London, between June 1st and July 16th.
In parallel, three videoconference conversations will be held with Ana Palma (June 8), Cliff Andrade (June 15) and specialists in the work of Paula Rego (June 22).
