Ana Caetano and Vitória Falcão returned to Lisbon for a fantastic show at LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo, and had a room full of fans to welcome them and listen to them, on a night that will once again be remembered by everyone who was there.
Anavitória continue to captivate many fans, and the concert at LAV proves this. An hour before the concert, the room was already packed, and by the time the concert started, it was full. Ana and Vitória, always very attentive to social causes, including issues related to LGBTQIA+ rights and mental health, to which they add enormous friendliness and joy on stage, win the hearts of all who hear them.
After five studio albums, they have solidified their position in Brazilian music and as one of the main names of the new generation. Winners of four Latin Grammy Awards, twice in the category “Best Song in Portuguese Language” and twice in the category “Best Pop Album in Portuguese Language”, their songs about love, relationships and personal experiences are little pearls of Portuguese-speaking music.
Ana and Vitória met at school in Araguaína, Tocantins. Although they were not singing professionally at the time (Ana was studying medicine and Vitória was studying law), their passion for music brought them together. They began recording acoustic videos of covers and original songs that they posted on the internet.
In 2015, they sent a video to businessman Felipe Simas (also Tiago Iorc’s manager), who was impressed and, together with Tiago Iorc, created the label Forasteiro to launch the duo.
And also in 2015, they released their first EP. In 2016, with the help of a funding campaign, they released their debut album Anavitória, produced by Tiago Iorc. The album includes hits such as “Agora Eu Quero Ir” (which is part of the soundtrack of a soap opera) and “Trevo (Tu)”, with the participation of Tiago Iorc.
The duo quickly gained prominence in the Brazilian, Portuguese and international music scene, and is recognized for its originality and talent. They have won four Latin Grammy Awards:
2017: Best Song in Portuguese Language (“Trevo (Tu)”)
2019: Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese Language (“O Tempo É Agora”)
2021: Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese Language (“COR”)
2021: Best Song in Portuguese Language (“Lisboa”, with Paulo Novaes)
In 2018, they starred in the film “Ana e Vitória”, directed by Matheus Souza, which portrays the story of the formation of the duo.
