Forbes Portugal has listed the 20 most powerful women in business.

In the November issue, which will be released this Wednesday (31st), Forbes Portugal publishes the list of the most powerful Portuguese in the business world. They are, as the statement sent to the newsrooms, “women who shape projects in their image, leave a mark without asking for a license, who generate brilliantly millions of euros and hundreds of people.”

They are investors, executives, director-generals and CEOs of large companies. They are, in short, women who stand out in prominent sectors of the Portuguese economy.

This is the case, for example, of Maria Ramos, a Luso-South African economist who, since 2009, has led ABSA Bank, the largest African bank; Isabel Vaz, who in 2000 created a health Grupo Espírito Santo, which today leads Luz Saúde, which has 30 health units, and Isabel Mota, the first woman to lead the Gulbenkian Foundation, one of the largest philanthropic foundations in the world with assets of three billion euros. ”
