André Pires and the Motor7 Yamaha team return to Estoril determined to improve the performance of the first race of the season, and are already finalizing preparations for the two days of the event that make up the third race of the National Speed Championship 2020. The driver from Vila Pouca de Aguiar thus hopes to repeat the podium climb achieved on an opening day.
The passage of the CNV Moto at the Autódromo Internacional of Algarve did not go in the best way for the Moto7 Yamaha rider, having suffered a crash in the first race, something that the rider and the team worked to resolve, resulting in a solid fourth-place finish. In Estoril, on the 18th and 19th of July, they will have a new opportunity on the track, which may allow an increase in the points table.

“We are prepared! After the crash in Portimão, we finally met the conditions to race in Estoril. We will, as always, try to do our best and work to improve our result and win.
It would be interesting to get back on the podium after the crash and fourth place. Above all, a good result would be very motivating and important for the whole team.
I want to thank Motor7 Yamaha Racing, MotoDinâmica, Vila Pouca de Aguiar Municipality, Beauty Machines and Casino El Frances, because without their support it would be impossible to be running in this complicated phase of the pandemic that we are experiencing. “
