André Ramos fights for the bronze medal in Boccia BC1

Defeated in the semi-finals by Malaysian Chew Wei Lun (2-9), André Ramos will fight for the bronze medal in Boccia BC1’s individual tournament at the Tokyo Paralympics.

In the game that guarantees the bronze, André Ramos will face the Brazilian José Oliveira, with whom he lost in the group stage.

Before the loss to Chew Wei Lun, André Ramos had beaten Russia Paralympic Committee Mikhail Gutnik 4-2 in the quarter-final game.

In athletics, Sandro Baessa finished the final of the 400 meters T20 (intellectual disability) in seventh place with a time of 48.79 seconds, a new national record.
