Android Nearby Share can now share apps between smartphones

Nearby Share is Google’s proposal when it comes to sharing files and information on Android. The research giant wants to give this component great modularity and not make it a simple point of exchange between smartphones.

The latest feature of this Android feature is to help the Play Store and apps on this system. From now on, Nearby Share can also share apps and install them on other devices.

On the side of those who receive the app, it is equally simple, being installed immediately after its reception. It does not require any configuration or alteration of the Play Store. Android knows the source of the sharing and trusts it to install it.

This novelty is now being released for everyone on Android and should be able to be used widely soon. Google thus expands the capabilities of Nearby Share, thereby reinforcing what it may bring to this service in the future.
