The Angolan teams of 1º de Agosto and Petro de Luanda ended today their participation in the League of African Champion Clubs in football, when they tied in the game of the last round of the group stage.
The military equaled zero, in Luanda, against the Zamalek of Egypt, for group A, while the oil companies drew two goals, in Algeria, with the USMA, for series C.
1º de Agosto finished third in the group with four points. TP Mazembe led, with 14, followed by the Egyptians, with nine.
The tricolors were also in third place in their group, with four points. Mamelodi Sundowns was first with 14 points, followed by Wydad de Casablanca with nine.
