Anime music concerts by Candlelight arrive in Lisbon and Porto
Candlelight, an intimate concert by candlelight that has already conquered thousands of Portuguese, announces a new original format: Candlelight Anime.
Fever’s new cultural proposal, in charge of a String Quartet, includes the interpretation of some of the best-known songs from Japanese cartoons in a truly intimate setting by candlelight.
Fans of Japanese cartoons, such as Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, and Naruto, will thus be able to watch the interpretation of the soundtracks of their favorite anime, in Porto and Lisbon. Candlelight Anime arrives in Porto on May 14, at the Ateneu Comercial, in two 60-minute sessions, at 7:30 pm or 9:15 pm. The concerts in Lisbon take place on June 5, at the Palácio de Xabregas, with 60-minute sessions, at 7:30 pm or 9:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased on the Fever app or website, for values between 15 and 35 euros, per person, depending on the approach and visibility to the stage.
In an intimate setting, in two emblematic locations of the two cities, lit by candlelight, the Candlelight Anime concerts will provide unique and exclusive experiences that combine the delicacy of classical music with romance and mystery, and that lovers of Japanese cartoons cannot lose.
Candlelight are instrumental concerts of classical music, presenting iconic pieces at an affordable price, while opening up to the community unique spaces of the cultural heritage of each city, since they are not held in common concert halls. This original concept by Fever has managed to bring classical music to a whole new audience, with 70% of participants under 40 in more than 40 cities worldwide.
