The Portuguese athlete Antoine Launay managed to qualify for the semi-finals of the K1 slalom event of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, finishing the event in 12th place.
Antoine Launay, got the 10th position with 95.68 seconds, and in the second round, he improved his time to 93.5, getting a spot among the 24 kayakers who continue to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals and the final will take place on Friday, at 2:00 pm (6:00 am in Portugal) and 4:00 pm (8:00 am in Portugal), respectively, at the Kasai slalom canoeing centre.
