António Félix da Costa in an interview today on Eleven
The Portuguese António Félix da Costa, pilot of the DS Techeetah, starts the defense of the title of champion tomorrow, at the Diriyah circuit, in Saudi Arabia.
The Portuguese driver made history in August last year when he secured the first Portuguese title in the history of Formula E. In anticipation of the start of the first stage of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, António Félix da Costa gave an exclusive interview to ELEVEN, conducted by Diana Pereira, who debuts today at 10 pm at ELEVEN 3.
“I didn’t believe in Formula E at first. As soon as I got in the car the first time I called Tiago (Monteiro) and said:” Tiago, get me out of here, I don’t want to know about this”.
“Now in Formula E my biggest motivation is to break records. And the day I withdraw, 5, 10 15 years from now, I don’t know, look at the record table and see my name with more wins, more championships, whatever it is.”
“As a title champion, which for me is still a bit surreal to say, but at the same time that’s what I worked for, aware that there will be more wars ahead, more fights”.
