António Zambujo starts celebration of Portuguese music with online performance
It is called #HeinekenConvidaChallenge and promises to bring a fresher perspective to the Portuguese who live in exceptional times, due to the social isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
With the concert halls closed, the virtual doors of the Heineken Convida festival will open this Saturday, at 9:30 pm, with a free online performance on the official Instagram page of António Zambujo.
With the objective of celebrating and supporting national music, António Zambujo will provide all Portuguese with a unique showcase, from home, thus starting a challenge that will involve several national artists, from the most varied musical genres.
After interpreting some of his successes, António Zambujo, the first headliner of this #HeinekenConvidaChallenge, will also sing a version of a song by a ‘mystery artist’ that he admires, challenging him to do the same with another musical guest, thus forming a chain of artists who over the next few weeks will share their best versions with fans.
The dates and artists of the following performances will be announced at the end of each concert and the virtual audience will also be invited to participate. To do this, all participants need to share their own versions of the songs of each artist, using the hashtag #HeinekenConvidaChallenge, thus qualifying for various prizes and surprises.
