But Manel (Francisco Ortiz) has been living his apocalypse for some time; he still hasn’t overcome the loss of his wife in an accident, and for a year he’s been depressed and isolated from the family, having Lúculo, his cat, as his only company. When the disease worsens, the sister insists on leaving Vigo and joining her in the Canary Islands, but the plan fails. Manel must take refuge in his house, using his intelligence and skill to survive. However, he and Lucullus are quickly forced to leave, finding unlikely but essential travel companions by land and sea. Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End is the story of a duel, a journey of survival, both physical and emotional, with action, tension, infected rabies, a little blood… and a grumpy cat.
