The Lisbon City Council announced that applications are now open for the Illustration Award: Lisboa Capital Verde 2020, an initiative launched by the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, in collaboration with Lisboa Green Capital 2020.
The competition aims to support the creation and promotion of environmental and sustainability values through the expressive area of illustration.
The works must be subordinated to the plastic exploration of the themes related to climate change and sustainability. The winning illustrations will be part of an exhibition and will receive a prize of around one thousand euros. There is also a category for participants under the age of 18.
Applications for the contest launched by the National Society of Fine Arts, in collaboration with Lisboa Green Capital 2020 must be submitted by 13 September 2020 to geral@snba.pt.
