MXGPU, John Woods, Ari Girão, John Gemiini & Nassá join the previously announced Jungle (DJ Set) and RY X (DJ Set) in the Cascais Atlantic Sunsets line-up.
Cascais Marina, which has been kept a secret until now, has been revealed as the venue for the first date on August 2nd, and will be paired with Santo António da Barra Fort, which will host the second sunset on August 16th.
Cascais establishes itself as one of the most exciting cultural destinations of the summer with Cascais Atlantic Sunsets, a series of two exclusive sunsets that promises to transform unusual landscapes into unexpected stages for the best in electronic music, with a strong curatorship that brings together national and international names.
The festival has just revealed the Cascais Marina, a location that has been kept secret until now, as the venue for the event’s debut on August 2nd, and announced new big names in the line-up: MXGPU, Hybrid DJ format, the acclaimed project by the duo Moullinex and GPU Panic, and DJs John Woods, Ari Girão, John Gemiini and Nassá.

MXGPU, the duo Moullinex and GPU Panic, who recently released the single “take me home” — a preview of the album Sudden Light — bring their hybrid DJ set to Marina de Cascais: an immersive performance that combines futuristic electronic sounds with a disruptive visual aesthetic.
The B2B (back to back) between Ari Girão and John Woods, on August 2, and between Ari Girão and the duo John Gemiini & Nassá, on August 16, represent the communion of talents from the national electronic scene in unprecedented and exclusive performances for both sunsets.
With limited capacity, Cascais Atlantic Sunsets was designed as a sensorial and sophisticated experience, where each element, from the line-up to the landscape, was chosen to create unique moments at sunset. The Marina, usually associated with nautical life, and the Santo António da Barra Fort, rarely open for events, thus become unexpected stages for a unique celebration of music and territory.
Tickets for both dates are already on sale at Ticketline, Shotgun and Resident Advisor. Early bird tickets are already sold out, and the first phase of regular tickets is already sold out for both days.
Cascais Atlantic Sunsets is an initiative by Gigs on Mars with the support of Cascais Tourism and the Cascais City Council.
