Referee Artur Soares Dias heads Manchester City in the Champions League

Portuguese judge Artur Soares Dias will referee the meeting between Borussia Monchengladbach and Manchester City, concerning the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16.

Given the flight restrictions to the United Kingdom, the citizens, from Rúben Dias, João Cancelo and Bernardo Silva, play against the German team at the Puskas Arena, in Budapest, in a match scheduled for next Wednesday.

Soares Dias will be assisted by Rui Licínio and Bruno Rodrigues, while the fourth referee will be Hugo Miguel.

The Portuguese also João Pinheiro will be in charge of the video referee, accompanied by the Italian Massimiliano Irrati.
