Arena mall hosts strategy games championship
On the 6th and 7th of May, Arena Shopping, in partnership with Académico de Torres Vedras and Devir Portugal, will host and organize a qualifier for the National Championship of Carcassonne and Catan 2023, the well-known board and strategy games.
On the 2nd floor, lovers of these games will have the opportunity to win a place in the National Final Phase, which will be followed by the Carcassonne 2023 World Cup, in October, in Germany.
Carcassone is a strategy game between 2 players, where each player builds their own board by placing pieces, and Catan is a game with 4 players, where towns and cities are developed, with resource management and commercial exchanges. Both were winners of the Spiel das Jahres (Best Game of the Year) award in 2001 and 1995, respectively.
Participation is free and limited to 32 available places. Registration is open until May 5th, at 5:30 pm, and can be done through the links below:
