The traditional Arraial de Santo António took place yesterday, June 8, at Meliá Lisboa Oriente, organized by the Hoti Hoteis group and Meliá Hotels and Resorts.
With around 350 guests, this was the first festival held after the remodeling of this hotel, which is already known for having one of the busiest festivals in Lisbon.
The popular party started at 7 pm and featured the usual showcase of all the Meliá hotels in Portugal and the presence of their directors. With lots of music and good cuisine, very typical of Santos Populares, there was a musical performance by the band Os Carapaus Azeite e Alho and the usual DJ Kridan, as well as plenty of food, such as the typical sardines, green soup, pork on the skewer, salads, cotton candy, and many other delicious delicacies.
In the end, everyone was entitled to basil and, the luckiest, had the opportunity to win several Meliá prizes.
