Kendrick Lamar, ABBA and Taylor Swift received nominations for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and more. DOMi & JD Beck, Muni Long and Samara Joy are nominated for Breakthrough Artist.
Universal Music Group has received Grammy nominations for its family of artists, songwriters, labels and distribution partners, spanning nearly every category.
ABBA received four nominations: Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for “Voyage” and Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo for “Don’t Shut Me Down”.
Taylor Swift was nominated for Song of the Year for “All Too Well,” which was also nominated for Best Music Video, as well as Best Country Song for “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)” and Best Country Song. Song Written for a Visual Medium by “Carolina” from “Where the Crawdads Sing”.
Kendrick Lamar was also nominated for Best Rap Album for “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”, Best Rap Performance, Best Music Video and Best Rap Song for “The Heat Part 5” and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Die Hard”, becoming the second most nominated artist of this year, accumulating eight nominations.
“Unholy” by Sam Smith and Kim Petras is nominated in the Best Pop Duo category. One of the songs of the moment, which won #1 on Spotify Global (#2 in Portugal), was one of the ten strongest debuts on the platform and has a gold award in Portugal.
